PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–A tree was reported down Friday night in Neshoba County. When a deputy was sent to see about it, he found a car had hit the tree.
The call for the downed tree was initially just before 9 p.m. on Hwy. 15 at County Rd. 248.
When a deputy arrived at 9:06 he reported back that a car had made contact with the tree.
While the woman who was driving the car was not hurt badly, the deouty repoorted that the tree had done significant damage to the front end of her car and that a wrecker would be needed to tow the car away.
