PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–About 11 o’clock Friday night Neshoba County deputies were called to a house on County Rd. 527 for a report of a man who had been causing a problem, then, according to the caller, pulled a gun and shot it into the air once.
The call was from the man’s sister-in-law, who said prior to the shot fired, the disturbance had been verbal only.
By the time a deputy arrived, someone had picked the man up and said they were taking him to Clarke County.
No arrest was made.
