PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–A fire Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia had police urging people to find a different route as a large smoke cloud settled and firefighters fought the fire.
That was at the intersection on Main and Beacon streets, according to a Facebook post from Philadelphia Police. Police communications put the fire time at about 3:30.
A house next to apartments directly across from the Oasis burned.
Police had to block off traffic so firefighters could do their jobs.
