PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–A man who ran after deputies discovered a truck and other vehicles and items stolen from Ascension Parish, Louisiana, in the Beatline community Wednesday, is now wanted on a warrant for possession of stolen property.
Sheriff Eric Clark says his department was called by the Miss. Highway Patrol for help in finding a Ford F-250 and a trailer that were reported stolen in Louisiana.
The truck, trailer, a 2025 Honda CRF250R dirtbike, a 2016 Honda TRX420FA5 ATV; a 6×12 foot enclosed utility trailer and a 6×10 foot utility trailer, were all found at a house on County Rd. 266 in the Beatline area.
Drugs, including ecstacy, were found in the truck and Clark says Courtney Delaney, 42, of Ruston, La., admitted the pills were hers and took credit for sytealing the truck from a police officer’s house.
While she was being arrested Sean Patric Sharp, 38, came out of the house and ran off into the woods, leaving behind his cell phone and drivers license.
He is now wanted on fleeing and possession of stolen property charges.
