PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–The food, fun and political speaking will come about one month earlier than you are used to, annouunced the Neshoba County Fair on Facebook late Friday.
For the fair in 2026, the fair will be June 19-26.
The change will not affect the dates for 2025.
The change is being made to accomodate schools starting earlier and other late-summer scheduling conflicts.
“Consideration of the date change for the 2026 Neshoba County Fair was not taken without considerable discussion. We value tremendously our friends, patrons and partners and their desire to participate in the Fair and its many activities that are unique only to The Neshoba County Fair. After the 2026 Fair, the Fair Associations’ Board of Directors will thoroughly analyze possible similar dates for the 2027 Fair,” said Neshoba Fair Pres. C. Scott Bounds.
Date changes to the 2026 utility activation for cabins and campers will be announced at a later date, said the post.
