PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–A woman who was out of town called Philadelphia Police about 6:25 Friday afternoon saying she was out of town, and that three boys were trying to break into her apartment where her daughter and a friend were still at home.
That apartment is on Country Ln.
The woman was watching from a camera in her apartment and updating police as they were on the way.
Though the people who were trying to get in were described as “boys”, one of them was described as having a beard. Their ages were unclear.
A neighbor told them to go away and they left the apartment before police got there.
Police reported all three were in custody just before 7 p.m. Police did not communicate the charges.
