The East Central Community College Warriors picked up their first win of the season at home in Decatur tonight playing basketball with the Southwest Community College Bears. When the horn sounded to end the contest, the Warriors were up by 1 point, 87-86. The Warriors maintained a lead throughout most of the game and enjoyed a 6 point lead at halftime, 43-37 but the Bears surged late in the game to take the lead. The lead would bounce back and forth for the remainder of the game but would bounce back in favor of the Warriors by 1 point as time expired. Our next broadcast of EC Warriors basketball is set for next Monday night at 6:00pm as the Bobcats from Jones College travel to Decatur.
