The East Central Community College Warriors were back on the hardwood in Decatur tonight hosting the Eagles of Meridian Community College. After a fast start for the Warriors that generated a 7 point lead over the Eagles in the opening half the Eagles came back strong erasing the East Central lead and giving Meridian a 7 point lead at halftime, 30-23. In the second half of the game, the Eagles continued to outscore the Warriors and despite a late game surge by the Warriors, the Meridian Eagles came away with an 18 point win, 60-42.
Our next broadcast of East Central Community College Warriors basketball on Cruisin 98 will be this Thursday night at 6:00pm when the Lady Warriors will host the Ladies of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
