Although some parts of Mississippi may see a slight chance of rain by next weekend, there’s currently none in the forecast for this part of the state. And an elevated danger of wildfires will continue during the coming week because of dry vegetation and low humidity. Burn bans remain in place in 60 counties including the entire local area.
