The East Central Community College Warriors were back home at the Brecken-Wood Gymnasium in Decatur tonight hosting Co-Lin Community College from Wesson. The Lady Warriors improved their season record by defeating the Lady Wolves by 7 points, 72-65. With the win, the Lady Warriors are now 15-10 overall and 4-7 in the conference.
In men’s basketball action, the EC Warriors were unable to overcome the Co-Lin Wolves dropping the game by 11 points, 74-63. The Warriors trailed by 5 points at the end of the first half but the Wolves were able to increase their lead in the second half. With tonight’s loss the Warriors are now 13-14 overall and 4-7 in conference play.
Our next broadcast of East Central Community College basketball on Cruisin 98 will be next Monday night at 5:30pm as the Warriors host the Bulldogs of Holmes Community College in the last home game of the season.
