If you get your electricity from Entergy, your bill is going up. The company says the typical residential customer can expect to pay about $165 a month starting in February. That’s an increase of more than $14. Entergy says the price of natural gas which is used to generate electricity will be higher this year. And the fuel adjustment has been approved by the Mississippi Public Service Commission. The company is encouraging customers to go online to BillToolKit.entergy.com to check out ways to lower your power bill. Entergy serves 45 counties in Mississippi including Attala, Holmes, Leake, Carroll, Montgomery and Choctaw.

January 15, 2026 at 10:40 amWonderful, our electric is already over 600.00 a month on budget billing so we apparently are not a typical family. I would love to have a 165.00 electric bill! Call me fed up!
