Gas Prices in MS Edging Downward

Gas prices in Mississippi continue their slow fall.  AAA says the average price statewide is down about 12 cents in the past week, now at $3.84.  The auto club says, in this part of the state, the only county below the statewide average is Leake at $3.83.    Next is Montgomery County at $3.89, followed by Neshoba County at $3.91, Winston County at $3.92, Holmes County at $3.95, Attala County at $3.96, Carroll County at just under $3.97 and Choctaw County at just over $3.97.   Those are all countywide average prices.  GasBuddy.com says the cheapest gas in this part of the state is in Philadelphia where you can fill up for as little as $3.67 a gallon and in Carthage prices are as low as $3.68.  In Kosciusko, the best bargain Gas Buddy found was $3.89.
