Dangerous heat stress will be moving back into Mississippi today although it looks like this area will avoid the worst of it. With temperatures this afternoon in the mid 90s, Holmes and Carroll counties could see the heat index creeping back into the triple digits. Those conditions are forecast to spread east tomorrow and into the weekend, intensifying in the west.
