After last week’s cold front provided a measure of relief from the worst of the summer heat stress, temperatures will be climbing and humidity increasing during the latter half of this week. The National Weather Service says the heat index will be a factor heading into the weekend, ranging from around 105 across most of the local area to as high as 110 in the west.
