Occasionally heavy rain is forecast in Mississippi again on Friday but the National Weather Service expects the heaviest amounts to fall along and south of I-20. Those areas can expect 1-3 inches. Locally, NWS is forecasting half-inch to one and a half inch accumulations from mainly Friday afternoon into early Saturday.
