Multiple fire departments, including Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department, Leake Correctional Fire Department, and Carthage Fire Department, battled a house fire on Hwy 16 E in Edinburg Monday morning.
Crews arrived shortly after 8 a.m. to find a two-story stilt house fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire is currently unclear.
