CARTHAGE, Miss.–At least two grass fires were reported Saturday afternoon in Leake County.
Carthage firefighters were called for an out of control grass fire on Red Dog Rd., just after 1:30 p.m.
Just after 2, Madden firefighters were called for an out of control woods fire on Withers Rd.
No one was reported hurt in either fire. No structures were reported in danger. The Forestry Commission was called for the fire on Withers Rd.
