The Leake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a home and vehicle riddled with bullets.
Deputies were dispatched to the home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025 after the homeowner reported gunfire targeting both their home and vehicle.
Occupants were inside the house during the shooting, but no injuries have been reported.
Deputies discovered multiple shell casings at the scene, with both the home and vehicle sustaining several bullet holes.
Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles leaving the area immediately after the incident, one described as a loud pickup truck and the other a sedan.
The Leake County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the case.
