(Brian BMO Montgomery) Attala County FFA Advisor Kenneth Georgia, Chapter President Abby Sanders and Secretary David Harmon stopped by the station this morning to wrap up the weeklong celebration of “FFA Week”. “The Future Farmers of America and 4H Club has always had a place in my heart because of both having worked with FFA chapters throughout my radio career and my history in the dairy industry. As I told the kids this morning. anytime I can assist with interviews or promoting a local chapter’s events means the world to me, because I know the commitment required. Working in that industry is a lifestyle, not a job.”
Mr. Georgia, Abby and David discussed the importance of agriculture, some of their favorite moments of the year so far, upcoming events such as their upcoming Plant Sale and “Legislative Breakfast” that included meeting Andy Gipson our Commissioner of Agriculture, Gale Martin the MS FFA Foundation Treasurer, and Delbert Hoseman our Lt Govenor. Attala FFA was recognized in the Senate by Senator Blackmon and had a special moment with the Speaker of the House Jason White.
