Grass Fire Gets Out of Control Wednesday Afternoon

CARTHAGE, Miss.–A grass fire got out of control Wednesday afternoon on Midway Rd. in Leake County.

Marydale volunteer firefighters were called out about 1:15 to handle it. Other volunteer departments assisted in getting it under control.
