EDINBURG, Miss.–A grass fire was reported out of control in the Edinburg area Saturday afternoon.
The fire was at an intersection near Rice Creek Rd., about 1:45 p.m.
Windy and dry conditions made for an elevated wildfire danger in central Mississippi all day Saturday.
The fire was in a field. No injuries were reported and no structures were reported in danger.
