Leake County Man Arrested on Sexual Battery Charges Involving Minor

A 20-year-old Leake County man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a minor.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Leake County Sheriff’s Office received a report concerning a possible sexual abuse situation involving a minor child and Cameron Lee, who was 19 years old at the time of the report.

Following an investigation, authorities determined there was sufficient evidence to establish probable cause for an arrest warrant.

Lee was arrested on Thursday, July 3, 2025, and charged with three counts of sexual battery. The charges specify that the victim is between 14 and 15 years of age, and that Lee is more than 36 months older than the victim.
