CARTHAGE, Miss.–A woman was reported laying half way in the highway on Hwy. 16 in Carthage Saturday.
The call came in just before noon.
Carthage Police were told the woman was in the highway near the hospital. The person who called it in also said the woman had something in her hands.
It was unclear if police made contact with the woman.
