CARTHAGE, Miss.–A person who saw a man and a woman they believed were drunk buy more alcohol and get into a car and take off called 911 Saturday night.
That was at the 76 station in Carthage at about 10:30 p.m.
The caller then followed the car, with the woman driving, as they got on Hwy. 16 and headed east out of town.
A Leake County deputy was able to catch up to the car at about 10:45 p.m. and get it pulled over.
The woman was arrested and the car was towed.
