CARTHAGE, Miss.–When two women got into a fight Friday night and the fight escalated, several neighbors heard gunshots and called 911.
The first call came in to the 911 dispatch center about 8:45 p.m. for a fight between two women on Waggoner Rd. The original call said one of the woman possibly had a knife.
A few minutes later another call came in saying the women were shooting, but in the air.
Then, the 911 calls from neighbors began coming in about shots being fired.
Deputies responded, as did an ambulance, just in case someone was hurt.
It was unclear if anyone was injured or arrested. Alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.
