The Storm Prediction Center now says severe weather in Mississippi is unlikely today. A Level-1 “marginal” risk of isolated severe storms with damaging winds has been shifted farther to the east into Alabama, although a few thunderstorms with gusty winds are still possible in the local area this afternoon and evening ahead of a cold front.
