(Brian Montgomery) Red Bird Farms is saying thank you to the people who answer the call when the rest of us need help. On Saturday, October 3, Red Bird Farms will host a special Heroes Appreciation Day, honoring first responders and their families with a discounted day of fall fun. From 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and other first responders, along with their family members, can get in for just $10 per person. Regular admission is $14.
Families can spend the day enjoying everything Red Bird Farms has to offer, including the pumpkin patch, hayrides, petting zoo, mini golf, corn bin and play area, train rides, and plenty more. It’s a simple idea, but a good one: give the men and women who spend their days helping everybody else a chance to slow down, bring the family, and enjoy a little fall fun together.
