CARTHAGE, Miss.–A Carthage woman will be sentenced Feb. 23, after pleading guilty to a federal charge of possession of meth with the intent to distribute.
Latonya Hines faces a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.
She pleaded guilty this week to the charge. Hines was indicted in August.
Federal prosecutors say she was caught with the meth in April.
A federal district judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors, said a news release announcing the plea.
