CARTHAGE, Miss.–A Leake County deputy spotted a fire Saturday afternoon and called for firefighters.
TRhat happened just after 1:30 p.m. on Gunter Rd.
The deputy said it appeared the fire had gotten out of hand and stressed that firefighters would likely want to step it up. He did not say whether any structures were in danger.
