PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–You should be aware, if you drive in Philadelphia, that the intersection of Valley View Rd., and Blount Street, will close Monday morning.
The city says that the roads have been deteriorating at the intersection because of damaged culverts and now the culverts must be replaced, which necessitates the closure.
It was unclear how long the closure would last.
Detours include:
* North End: Access Valley View Drive from Highway 16 East.
* South End: Access Valley View Drive from St. Francis Drive.
* Grace Baptist Church: Access the church from St. Francis Drive.
