At 10:15 Tuesday morning, the Philadelphia Fire Department was notified of a fire at a residence on Valley View Drive. Upon arriving they found the inhabitants burning a couch behind their house. The firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames and prevented it from spreading out of control.
Later, at 12:30 in the afternoon, police were called to the site of a minor accident in the Walmart parking lot on Beacon St. There were no injuries, and it is unknown if there were any charges filed.
