There will not be a special election in Walnut Grove to fill a vacant alderman seat, only one person filled in the qualifying period.
Shantell Edwards will complete the remainder of former Walnut Grove Alderman Chip Jones’s term. Jones was recently elected to the Leake County Board of Supervisors.
