EDINBURG, Miss.–Someone called the Leake County Sheriff’s Office early Saturday morning to report a possible drunk driver. Later the same car was reported on fire and in a ditch.
That happened just before 1:30 a.m. on Hwy. 16 east near Edinburg.
When a Leake Co. deputy arrived on the scene he reported the car was almost fully involved in flames.
A deputy reported that none of the occupants were in the car.
