CARTHAGE, Miss.–A fire was reported to have gotten out of control Friday evening in Leake County just before 6 p.m. The person who called for deputies said that it started as a debris burn that caught the end of a house on fire.
That happened on Hwy. 35 south, near Hughes Rd.
The caller also reported a ruckus from the family and the person who started the fire over part of the house haviung been burned and that is why deputies were called to the scene.
