CARTHAGE, Miss.–Though Leake County was under a tornado warning early this morning as a line of storms approached, there were no tornado touchdowns suspected.
Leake County Emergency Manageent Director Tommoy Malone sais that there had bee sporadic tree damage reported. He also said that some dead trees had fallen, which has been a problem because of pine beetles and the drought from 2023.
Malone said there had been no structural damage reported as of 7 a.m.
