KOSCIUSKO, Miss.-Trouble with coyotes being spotted in a Kosciusko neighborhood is being handled, said the City of Kosciusko, in a Facebook post Friday.
People have reported the creatures on the west and southwest sides of the city.
“Animal control, the Kosciusko Police Department, and Mississippi Game and Fish are aware of the coyotes located on the west and southwest sides of town and are actively patrolling that area<‘ read the post.
“Traps have been set in wooded areas to try to capture them. If you spot one in your area get to a secure location and call the police department at 662-289-3131. Thank you for your help in this matter.”
