Two handguns and a wallet were stolen from two vehicles on Robinson Rd. in Leake County on the evening of Friday, June 28, 2025.
A Leake County Sheriff’s Office Investigator responded to the scene and spoke with the homeowners, who stated that sometime during the night, an unknown individual came onto their property and stole a Glock 9mm handgun from the center console of a Dodge truck.
A SCCY 9mm along with a wallet was stolen from the center console of a Dodge Durango. The wallet contained approximately $80 in cash, debit cards, and gift cards.
The homeowners reported that both vehicles were left unlocked overnight. The last time the vehicles were confirmed secure was around 9 p.m. Friday night.
Leake County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the theft.
