Kosciusko’s Zenovia Woolie along with 28 other young ladies from the state of Mississippi recently participated in the Distinguished Young Women of MS State Finals in Meridian, MS.
Miss Woolie, who attends Kosciusko High School, received the Spirit Award and $1,000 in college scholarships. The Spirit Award is the only award voted on by other participants rather than scored and evaluated by the judges. The Spirit Award is said to embody what it means to be a Distinguished Young Woman.
