The Leake Academy Lady Rebels won the MAIS State Championship this afternoon defeating the Lady Raiders of Kirk Academy by 22 points, 56-34. The Lady Rebels finished 3A play 32-4 overall. The Lady Rebels now advance to the Overall Tournament that takes place at the Golden Dome at Mississippi College in the A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton. It is believed the Lady Rebels will play Oak Forrest either Wednesday or Thursday next week. Dates and time will be announced when they become available.
