The Leake Academy Rebels traveled to Grenada this afternoon for the opening round of District 2 MAIS baseball playoffs playing the Raiders of Kirk Academy. The Rebels won the game in a 4 inning, no hitter, 12-0 shutout. The Rebels scored 4 runs in the opening inning, then added 3 runs in both the 2nd and 3rd innings, then added 2 runs in the top of the fourth. The series now moves to Madden for a possible doubleheader on Thursday, if needed, to determine who advances in the playoffs.
