The Mid-South Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) has released its 2025 Class 3A All-State Football Team, and Leake Academy stands out as one of the most decorated programs on the list — including earning the league’s top individual honor.

Leake Academy quarterback George Wilcox was named MAIS 3A Player of the Year, capping a stellar season in which he led the Rebels to the 3A Division 1 State Championship. On the sidelines, Rebels head coach Brian Pickens earned DI Coach of the Year, further solidifying the program’s strong season.

In addition to Wilcox, Leake Academy placed a large group of athletes across both the All-MAIS Offense and Defense teams.
