The Philadelphia Municipal Airport will receive more than $832,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration to reconstruct lighting. And the Carthage-Leake County Airport will get $94,000 to install a navigational aid and to rehabilitate the airport beacon. Airport Improvement Program grants have also been approved for 27 other airports in Mississippi. The total investment by the FAA is more than $15 million statewide.
