A log was apparently lost by an MDOT vehicle on Hwy 35 near the intersection of Hwy 16 in Carthage around 1 p.m. today, April 16, 2024. The log was said to be over 10 feet long and blocking a lane of traffic. Carthage Police were alerted, and in turn notified MDOT, who quickly removed the log from the roadway.
