The MDOT reminds us about safety, kids, and buses. More kids are back in school today than the last six months. Therefore more kids and buses are on the roads. So MDOT asks everyone to remember the following when driving or crossing streets.
***Never pass a school bus if it’s stopped to load/unload children. You must STOP.
***Allow for a greater following distance behind a bus
***Stop far enough back to allow children to safely enter and exit the bus
*** Remember to social distance
