(Brian Montgomery) The Neshoba Central Rockets took care of business Friday night, rolling past the Columbus Falcons 42-14 in Columbus.
Neshoba Central bounced back in a big way after falling to Germantown the previous week, putting 42 points on the board and picking up its third win of the season.
The Rockets have had Columbus’ number lately as well. Neshoba Central defeated the Falcons 17-6 last season, then followed that up with an even more convincing win Friday night.
For Columbus, the loss continued a tough start to the season as the Falcons remained winless.
Neshoba Central now gets a break before turning its attention toward region play, with the Rockets scheduled to travel to Greenville on Friday, October 9.
