Neshoba County Sheriff, Eric Clark announced that NCSO is cracking down on Neshoba’s persistent litter problem.
Sheriff Clark revealed plans to ramp up efforts over the upcoming weeks, aiming to apprehend individuals caught littering. To strengthen surveillance, additional cameras will be strategically placed in troublesome areas throughout the county, along with increased physical monitoring.
Sheriff Clark issued a stern warning, stating, “Those caught littering or dumping will face arrest and public exposure. Your name, photo, and charges will be featured in our weekly arrest report. Furthermore, if found guilty, hefty fines will be imposed by the court.”
Neshoba County provides a cost-free dump site available at the county barn on Hwy 15 North where trash, scrap metal, and other unwanted items can be taken.
