The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a series of recent shootings that have caused property damage downtown.
Though no injuries have been reported, several buildings, including businesses, have been struck by bullets overnight.
Officers have also responded to other reports of gunfire across the city, but no additional evidence was found.
In response to these recent incidents, the department has increased patrols and business checks.
