The 5th Annual Heart of Mississippi Rodeo is returning to Kosciusko this fall Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10.
Presented by the Kosciusko Attala Partnership, the two-night event will take place at 1 Superior Drive on property provided by Dickerson Petroleum. Sanctioned by the National Cowboy Pro Rodeo Association (NCPRA) and the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA), with production by Deep South Rodeo Productions, the weekend will feature bucking, barrel racing, roping, and youth mutton busting.
Cain Inc. and Cain Recyclers serve as the event’s presenting sponsors. Mayor Tim Kyle noted during the Aug. 4 Board of Aldermen meeting that local businesses and individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities can still sign up to support the family-focused tradition.
