LOUISVILLE, Miss.–A Winston County man faces several felony charges that include sextortion and escape.
Frederic Rush is accused of secretly recording he and his ex-girlfriend having sex and then threatening to show people the video if she didn’t give him $30, according to the Winston County Sheriff’s Dept.
Rush was able to leave an interrogation after being arrested on the sextortion charge because the new building did not have lcks.
Locks have since been installed.
That is when investigators say he stole a flatbed truck from the Louisville Fire Dept., which had been left with the keys in it.
Rush abandoned that vehicle in Grenada, stealing another truck, driving that one to Water Valley, where deputies say he stole another vehicle.
He was finally caught in Neshiba County and is now back in Winston County to face all of the charges.
