CHOCTAW, MS — Pearl River Resort announced Wednesday that The Buffet at Silver Star Hotel & Casino will permanently close March 28, 2026, following a review of its food and beverage operations. The resort says all current Buffet staff will be reassigned to other dining outlets and departments.
“The Buffet has been part of many great memories for our guests and team members,” said Timothy Hill, President and CEO of Pearl River Resort. “As we advance our property improvement plan, we are making strategic decisions to deliver elevated quality, consistency, and value across our dining experiences. We are investing where demand is strongest and introducing concepts that reflect today’s preferences.”
Pearl River Resort offers a range of dining options across its properties. At Silver Star, guests can visit Phillip M’s, Stats Sports Bar & Grill, Rally Alley, and The Bakery. Over at Golden Moon Hotel & Casino, options include Bistro, Mama n Em, Time Out Lounge/Sportsbook Bar, and Whiskey Bean.
Additional dining is also available at venues such as Dancing Rabbit Golf Club.
